Also, comment if you have any questions. Thanks!

Howdy, campers! You have been asking us what you need to do to reserve cabins for Camp, so we thought we should explain the process a little more. We plan to send out Camp Registration Packets early this summer with all the information, maps, lists, things-to-send-back-to-us, etc. Until then, you can let us know about your cabin preferences by filling out the questionnaire below. Here’s a quick review of your options.

Turner: We expect most people to stay in Camp Turner. The beds aren’t bunk beds, so they can be pushed together, or you can bring your own air mattresses. You don’t have to worry about choosing people to share a room with — we’ll match friends and family together into cabins.

Weller: The Weller cabins are a 5-minute walk away from the main Turner camp. We’re expecting that families with babies and younger kids may appreciate the privacy of Weller. The cabins have either one or two rooms — take a look at the photos below to get a better idea what the layout is like.

Fancher: We also have six fully-appointed two-bedroom cottages for the weekend. They have two bedrooms, new kitchens, bathrooms and showers — the whole kit & kaboodle.

There are pictures of all these cabins (and more!) online, and there is a summary below.

expected campers

beds

linens included?

distance to

cost

bathroom

dining hall

Turner

80

8/room

no

next door

very close

$20/adult/weekend

Weller

10

4/cabin

no

short walk

5 min walk

$60/night

10

8/cabin
(2 rooms, no door)

no

short walk

5 min walk

$70/night

Fancher

20

1 double & 2 singles/cottage (2 bedrooms)

yes

in cottage

~2 mi

$150/night or $613/week

So that we can get some idea of the numbers so far, here’s a super-short questionnaire. If you are pretty sure or very sure that you will be coming, let us know your cabin preference — even if you’ve already talked with us about it. If you have more questions, please talk to us, or write a comment below! Thanks!

[This questionnaire has been replaced with a paper version -- heading toward you at the speed of... mail!]
